Angelo co-founded COVO in 1996 and has managed and co-directed the organization since 1999.

Previously, he worked as a choreographer and performer with London’s dance theatre company Nightshift.

In 2005, he earned an MA in Systemic Approach to Coaching, Management, and Consultation from Birkbeck College, University of London.

Leveraging systemic thinking in his community work, Angelo taught community and youth work at Goldsmiths University from 2014 to 2024.

He is currently a visiting researcher at Goldsmiths, exploring Italian racial identity in the postcolonial era.
