Our Track Record
At COVO, we have delivered a diverse range of creative, educational, and therapeutic projects designed to support children, young people, families, and professionals.
Our work has spanned schools, community spaces, and care environments, tackling issues such as inclusion, emotional wellbeing, behavioural challenges, and identity.
Using the arts, reflective practice, and tailored training, our programmes have aimed to build confidence, improve relationships, and foster meaningful engagement across all age groups and settings.
What we delivered during the years
Children and Young People
- In secondary schools, we improved discipline, learning outcomes, and peer relationships, and provided creative support for students with special needs, with a strong focus on emotional wellbeing and identity.
- In primary schools, we supported children in their transition to secondary school and addressed behaviour through play-based strategies.
- In early years settings, we enhanced children’s learning and increased parental engagement.
- In Supplementary and Mother Tongue schools in Southwark, we trained young people from 25 different schools to act as researchers to interview their peers and produce a report to inform best practice across the borough.
- For Pupil Referral Units (PRUs), we ran intensive training programmes that equipped staff and students with practical, reflective tools to manage behavioural challenges.
- Through in-house training, we supported children and young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties who struggled to engage with school, family, or peers.
Parents
- Our parenting workshops helped caregivers understand children’s needs and develop reflective practices. Weekly tasks encouraged parents to apply what they learned at home and share their experiences in group sessions.
Professionals
- We provided INSET and CPD training for educators and youth workers, helping organisations build emotionally literate, reflective practices and become learning-focused environments.
Bespoke Programmes
- We designed and delivered tailored programmes in Local Authorities in London and Oxford and in higher education, addressing inclusion, diversity, and their impact on learning for students, educators and practitioners.
Living with Dementia
- We offered innovative music and movement workshops for people living with dementia, using iPads and music apps to encourage creativity, engagement, and expression.
