Welcome
COVO is a local charity with a national reach, based in the London borough of Southwark since 1999.
We run creative interventions for excluded children and young people at risk of NEET who find it difficult to engage in mainstream education.
The charity works holistically, training schools and CSS organisations in reflective and child-centred practices that support young people to engage in their learning and fulfill their potential. We train and mentor staff to sustain these practices in the long-term.
COVO provides tailored programmes for struggling parents and families to support their children’s social, emotional and academic development.
Currently our focus is:
- working with excluded young people in pupil referral units / CSS
- supporting children and young people into and through secondary education
- working with disadvantaged parents and families

New Management Committee Members:
We would like to welcome Greg Williams and Seema Sodhi as the newest members of COVO Management Committee. They joined in October 2011 and have been very supportive in how we have prepared ourselves for 2012.
